JOE CARRARO adds a voice of an Average Joe with extraordinary opportunities and experiences.
Joe has the capability to understand politics while analyzing human behavior, business, the economy and a host of other issues. He has been a State Senator for 20 years, with an MBA and a PhD; been a stockbroker, financial analyst; and has even owned Italian restaurants.
He’s worked on Wall Street and delivered pizzas to Main Street.
He understands the value of small business, and the influence of big business.
Joe Carraro is an author, lecturer, and playwright. He has taught Organizational and Human Behavior and Professional Ethics in graduate school and championed the causes of the developmentally disabled. He was Chairman of a Multi-Billion dollar Investment Oversight Committee and founded Project Share, a private homeless feeding program. A former acquaintance of Ronald Reagan who encouraged him to run for elected office. As a Senator, he learned by listening and asking questions and can tell you what politicians are really saying when they speak. He can also tell you why men and women act the way they do and why our country is on the verge of an economic collapse.
Carraro understands the needs of people and the inefficiencies of government. He doesn’t just talk about problems; he uses his experiences to help others formulate solutions so that we are able to inform those that govern, that their power is derived from the consent of the governed. THAT’S US!
And Carraro is always learning from his experiences. During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he was responsible for getting the gasoline needed to run the generators in New Orleans, and was then tasked with mopping floors in the emergency trauma center, taking those morbidly obese to the bathroom, and eventually being placed in charge of the psychiatric triage. He was then singled out by the Louisiana Legislature in the passing of a resolution in his honor for his response and contribution to those in desperate need.
He knows what it takes to get the job done, whether dealing with the head of a country or cleaning up someone else’s mess.
This Average Joe has been fighting for those in our society who seem to have no one representing them in government, business, or the media. It’s those who are too busy trying to make ends meet, who cannot achieve the power and influence necessary to have their point of view both expressed and implemented. Joe will have their voice heard.
